Conference venue
The conference takes place at Soria Moria Hotel and Conference Center in Oslo.
Soria Moria Hotel and Conference Center was originally named Voksenkollen Sanatorium and was built in 1900 by the contractor Christian Lund Holm. Their website reveals that the famous composer Edvard Grieg christened the building Soria Moria, after a magical castle in a Norwegian fairytale.
"During that era, a sanatorium was a place where one “retrieved strength” – Today it is also a place where you work, plan and calm your mind. Whether it’s for creativity, high level government conferences, a nice family celebration or simply just to retreat from the busy city life for a day or two."
The venue is located in Holmenkollen area, close to the city centre. The Soria Moria restaurant has amazing views over the city, the Oslo fjord and the Sørkedalen forests. There is also a gym, a swimming pool and sauna and an atrium for getting fresh air and taking in the spectacular views. You can read more about the venue on the Soria Moria website.

How to get there
Soria Moria is accessible by car and the Oslo metro (t-bane) line 1, direction Frogneseteren. The metro stop is called 'Voksenkollen', and there is a 10-minute walk to the hotel from the stop.
When you are arriving from the Oslo Airport, you can either take a taxi directly to Soria Moria, or take the Flytoget airport train to Oslo city and then take a taxi or the t-bane. Depending slightly on the time of the day, combination Flytoget + taxi is probably the fastest option. The address for Soria Moria is Voksenkollveien 60.
