Code of Conduct

Disclaimer and Code of Conduct for NeIC 2024 Conference Participants:

Respect: All participants are expected to treat each other with respect and dignity, regardless of their background, identity, or beliefs.

Inclusivity: The conference is a space for diverse perspectives and ideas. Discriminatory behaviour or language based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic will not be tolerated.

Professionalism: Constructive and professional interactions are encouraged. Harassment, intimidation, or any form of disruptive behaviour is not acceptable.

Privacy and Consent: Participants must respect each other's privacy and seek consent before sharing personal information or images.

Compliance with Laws and Policies: All attendees must comply with local laws, NeIC policies, and venue regulations.

Safety: The well-being and safety of all participants are a priority. Any concerns about safety or well-being should be reported to the conference organisers immediately.

Compliance with the Code of Conduct: All participants are expected to adhere to this Code of Conduct. Any violations will be addressed by the conference organisers, and appropriate actions will be taken, which may include removal from the event.

By attending the NeIC 2024 conference, participants agree to follow this Code of Conduct and contribute to a positive and respectful conference environment.
