This half day workshop provides a focused, scenario‑based cyber crisis exercise designed to build competence in crisis coordination, communication, and decision‑making. Participants receive a short introduction to crisis management, engage in a light icebreaker, and then work through an escalating cyber incident simulation.
Optional: Speaker / convener biography
Maria Edblom Tauson has worked with the planning and facilitation of crisis exercises since 2018, both within SUNET, TF-CSIRT and in the Géant community. She serves as Task Lead for Géant’s Human Factor task, where she also contributes to the design and delivery of the group’s exercises.
In addition, Maria is an active member of the SUNET CSIRT team, focusing on incident handling, community outreach, and vulnerability scanning. She has many years of experience in CSIRT work and continues to support security efforts within the research and education community.
