Welcome to the NeIC AHM 2025!

AHM 2025 22-23 September

The NeIC All Hands Meeting is the annual event at NeIC where people working on NeIC projects come together across projects and teams. The aim of these events is to give NeIC staff a chance to get to know other people working on e-infrastructure in the Nordics so that we can connect and learn from each other. The intended participants of the AHM are personnel contracted on NeIC activities/projects. Please contact your project manager beforehand registering for the event.

Please note: Deadline for registration is on 2025-07-16

PPS training 24 September - How to work and collaborate for successful projects
This year, the AHM will be co-located with the PPS Training Level 1. The training takes place at the same venue on Wednesday, immediately following the AHM.

If you wish to attend the PPS training, please contact your Project Manager for approval. NeIC will cover one night's hotel accommodation (the night preceding the training day) for participants. Please remember to register for the PPS training simultaneously when you register for the AHM.

Tietoevry PPS Training Level 1 provides a foundational understanding of the PPS model, covering essential project management principles from objective setting and planning to execution, risk management, and effective steering group interaction. It equips participants with practical tools for successfully navigating project lifecycles.

Expense Coverage for AHM participants:

Project Members: NeIC cover costs on transportation, daily allowance, and 1 night's accommodation.

Steering Group Members: We encourage Steering Group members to attend. NeIC will cover 1 night's hotel accommodation, dinner, and lunch for them, though general travel expenses and daily allowance are not covered.

Travel from abroad: Please note that the cheapest flight/transport option should be chosen whenever possible.

For those traveling from Finland, the ferry option should be chosen.

Daily Allowance:

NeIC will provide catering for all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee breaks) during the AHM. A daily allowance will also be provided, but this allowance will exclude the cost of the meals directly provided by NeIC through the catering service. According to the normal practices of your organisation, if your organisation's full daily allowance includes meals, the amount you claim from NeIC will be reduced accordingly for the meals provided.

Reimbursement:

According to our collaboration agreement, you can request reimbursement for travel costs quarterly. Please ensure you keep all receipts and follow your project's established procedures for submitting expense reports.
