CSC Sensitive Data Services for Research (14 September)

Summary
CSC, the Finnish IT Center for Science, recently released the beta version of Sensitive Data Services for Research:

Sensitive Data Desktop: gives you secure access over public internet to a virtual private cloud, and allows secure analysis of sensitive data remotely from users’ own computer via a web browser.
-
Sensitive Data Connect is a simple web and command line interface that enables sharing and uploading encrypted sensitive data for analysis in SD Desktop.
These services are provided free of charge for Finnish researchers and their collaborators, according to CSC general terms of use.
The webinar will give an introduction to the services and a brief demonstration of generating a CSC account, providing the correct documentation and launching the private computing environment.
