Local transport: Hotels (and most restaurants) are in the city center, university campus is 25 minute walk or 10 minute bus ride (line 2,5,8,9 to/from "Universum"). Buses paid to the driver in front through bus card (fast, buy at a kiosk) or credit card (slow but works), no cash.
Airport: UME, flights from Stockholm (SAS, Norwegian, BRA) and Helsinki (Finnair). 4-5 km from city center or campus - walkable in good weather, airport bus goes to city center and then onwards to university campus. Taxis cost 200-250 SEK/trip.
Other transport: Trains and road also exist, count on at least 6-7 hours from Stockholm.
