Site reports:

* Dmytro is leaving for another job after the summer

* HPC2N has had several power outages since last meeting

* UiO and UiB have almost finished installing new hardware, coming online soon

ARC and compute:

* Speculation on future requirements for compute given by ALICE and ATLAS, biggest difference is 4G/core for ALICE and 2G/core RAM requirement for ATLAS will stay (no increase on ATLAS!) with hope to reduce it for ATLAS with multithreaded jobs (but no timeline for that yet).

* Shared ARC6 upgrade experiences and thoughts about upgrading the rest of the sites

* arcctl was shared as a very useful tool

Storage:

* No change in future storage use from ALICE, ATLAS will most likely move to tape carousels and use tape far more actively. Maybe reading 30-100% of data stored every year.

* Future tape technology, tapes are getting bigger and faster. Future tape pools will likely have to contend with faster speeds, will be tricky to buy something that'll keep in for a few tape generations.

* Disk: Several updates to the disk pool hardware document was agreed, Mattias will implement in the document.

* Sites need to install the IGTF CA certificates for pool nodes, no hostcerts needed.

Next meeting:

* Berne

* Maiken, Gianfranco, and Niklas chosen to PC. They should recruit one Indico expert to complete the team.
