Welcome to our yearly Heilsa project meeting!

This is an opportunity to look within and beyond the project, understand the purpose of our services, and get to know each other better!

The event will take place in Uppsala, Sweden, at the University building BMC at the address Husargatan 3. It is at walking distance from the city center (2.5 km from the train station).

Travels

Book an airplane to Arlanda, Stockholm or a train to Uppsala Centralstation.

From Arlanda, you have several options:
At first, take a train (operators SJ, Mälartåg, or SL) to Uppsala Centralstation for 18-20 min.
Then, either go for a refreshing walk of 2.5 km to BMC or catch the bus number 3, 8, 11, 100, 101 or 107 to Uppsala Science Park (operator ul.se/en) for 7-8  min and then walk 400 m along the same street.
Pay with bank card or ApplePay, SamsungPay etc.

If you are several persons, it can be an option to book a cab through phone number +46 18 100 000 from Arlanda to Husargatan 3, Uppsala.
1-4 personer: 675 SEK, 5-8 personer: 995 SEK

At BMC

This building has restricted access. Johan, Anna, and all Swedish system developers have access cards as we work here. :) Please arrive in proper time before the morning session starts so that we can open the doors for you and show you the lockers, meeting room etc before the meeting starts.
The correct entrance is C11. Above the door there is a big sign "SciLifeLab".

Accomodation

Please book a regular room at one of Uppsala's hotels.

Suggestions: Best Western Hotel Svava, Clarion Collection Hotel Uppsala, Uppsala CityStay Hotel.

Meals

We will arrange for lunch and dinner the first day and lunch the second day, as well as coffee/tea breaks.

Lunch day 1: Elma restaurant, 5 min walk from meeting room.

Lunch day 2: Sallad with bread. Stay and eat together or, if you are in a hurry, bring it to the airport.

Payment

As in any NeIC project meeting, the reimbursement goes through your institution to NeIC. If you have any questions, please contact Mari at mari.arnesen@nordforsk.org

This building has restricted access. Please arrive between 10:30 and 10:55. We will open the doors for you and show you the lockers etc. If you arrive earlier, just give us a call or send a message on Slack.
